DIFFERENT LAYERS FOR DIFFERENT PURPOSES

BALANDRA IS THE SYSTEM WHERE THE TWO DIFFERENT SETS OF IT COMPONENTS CAN SAFELY ARTICULATE.

To handle digital customers, the architecture needs to layer the different needs. It is known as the bimodal IT:

Customer exposed front-offices:
a fast-paced, dynamic, ever growing set of resources. They need to handle the commercial dialog, which is naturally multichannel.

Record oriented back-offices:
a base of solid, proven systems to manage the core systems. Their complexity makes them slow-movers.

The system of differentiation:
The layer to articulate the flow of information between the other two. Not only event-triggered, it will in fact handle the process. To manage the diversity, it will need to be data-centric.
